PALMA de MALLORCA

PEARLS + PASSION
Most endearing of all the places I visited in stunning Spain was Palma de Mallorca. This city is renowned for its pearls, & boasts some of the most beautiful walkways and sights for the eyes to feast on.

BARCELONA

ARCHITECTURAL ALCHEMY
Barcelona is a sprawling city with sprinkles of Antoni Gaudi's genius. A casual stroll along La Rambla at the heart of the city brings you to the doorsteps of Casa Battlo and La Pedrera, 2 of the most fascinating renditions of architecture inspired by organics and physiology.
But perhaps most impressive of all is the Sagrada Familia which is yet to be fully finished. It will elicit the feeling as though 3000 years into the future, you're experiencing the ruins of the now.

SITGES

A SERENE SEGUE
Sitges is a town roughly 35 min South-East of Barcelona. It's small enough to fully explore in one day, and the trip is worth it. If for no other reason than to put insecurities into perspective on the nude beach at the foot of Parròquia de Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla. I Googled that because my Spanish is about as evolved as Lo siento, no hablo español. And yes, I Googled that too.

PRAGUE

MAGIC + MODESTY
Our stay in Prague was cut short when my friend and I had to head back to her place in Vienna to grab our passports for the bus trip, and one and a half days is by no means enough to soak up the magic that is this beautiful city. Go, if for no other reason than to see the red rooftop canopy of Old Town Prague from high up on the hills.
