SCREEN, NOVEL, POETRY
It's strange to reflect upon a time, only a few years ago, when writing was not even on the addendum of my bucket list. Alas, inspiration struck, and being naive enough to think a weekend intensive on Screenwriting For Actors would be sufficient training, I embarked upon writing what in 2 years would become my first published novel, The Fray Theory -- Resonance. It was followed a year later by a supplemental novella, The Harbinger, an origin story of one of my most pivotal characters in TFT.
Upon it's publication, however, I realized my heart has been, and always be in the movies, and so like a good minimalist I took on Screenwriting in 2017 and a year later had completed my first sci-fi mystery thriller, THE CHROME HOLLOW. A script I revisited in 2020 after reworking it with renowned LA Script Doctor, Peter Russell, due to its prescient themes and ever evolving relevance to the new status quo.
In 2020, THE CHROME HOLLOW placed in 6 international competitions (1 win, 5 finalist), which I hope will be a stepping stone to one day watching it on the big (or small) screen.
